    Parish of Balally constituted The parish of Balally was constituted in 1977, separated from the parish of Sandyford.
  • 1982
    Church built Parishioners built the church in 1982, with some elements left unfinished due to lack of funds.
  • 2006
    Church re-dedicated after renovation Archbishop Diarmuid Martin re-dedicated the church on 1 October 2006 after renovations, funded partly by the sale of parish land for the Luas tram line, completed the suspended ceiling, stained glass windows, sanctuary, altar, lighting and baptismal font.
