Round tower with the most storeys in Ireland (adjacent site)

The round tower standing near St MacCullin's, dated to the tenth or eleventh century, is described in sources as having nine internal storeys, the highest number recorded for any round tower in Ireland. It is part of the same historic churchyard complex as the medieval Norman tower and the 1847 Church of Ireland church, but is not part of the Catholic parish church covered in this record.
