    Earlier church at Killossery Wikipedia records an earlier church, Killossery, said to have been built near the river in the seventeenth century, serving a parish of about 2,500 acres with over 380 inhabitants in the nineteenth century.
  • 1850
    Current church built St Brigid's Church, the current building, was built in the 1850s according to Wikipedia, replacing the earlier Killossery church.
  • 1990
    Restoration Wikipedia records that St Brigid's Church underwent extensive repair work in the late 1990s.
